Video Inspection
Video inspection is an affordable and useful service offered by ABC Pipe Cleaning Services Ltd. It provides a visual inspection of a pipe's interior condition. Video inspection can also be used to locate services or wyes in a pipeline. We give you computer generated reports detailing the condition of the pipe together with either a videotape, CD, or DVD. Experienced WRc Certified personnel are available to identify problem areas. For the best results we recommend that the pipe in question be cleaned first so we can see all defects.
We are able to inspect pipes as small as 50mm(2") in diameter.
For small diameter pipe we use a push camera system. We use a camera on a self-propelled tractor for inspecting pipes 150mm (6") in diameter and up. We have 360 degree pan and tilt cameras and a hemispherical camera. We can take digital photos/video of the pipe's interior. Our overlay system includes all pertinent information, ie:onscreen footage, to and from manholes, pipe diameter and much more. In addition, we are able to record the video as a MPEG file. We have two self-contained video inspection trucks - one of which contains video equipment classified as intrinsically safe by Pearpoint.
We can record the video inspection on either VHS, SVHS, or in MPEG. The reports can be presented in hard copy or digitally. We use WinCan inspection software. These reports are very easy to read.
We can also do manhole inspection reports including photographs in digital format or paper.
City Sewer Departments are relying on video inspection more and more everyday. They require this detailed information for their maintenance programs; whether to clean, or which repair would be best and when, which lines should be grouted, spot repaired or root cut.
